The Snapdragon S4 MSM8627 has been used in the HTC range of mobile phones. The chipset is a mid range chipset and does not have all the features such as high resolution screen ability that other higher end chipset such as the Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 would offer. It is however better than the Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Lite. The chipset was used in the HTC Windows Phone 8S range of mobile phones.
The Snapdragon S4 MSM8627 is a chipset which is powered by a 1 Ghz Qualcomm Krait processor. This is normally a dual core processor. The processor has a 1,024 KB/Core L2 cache processor with a Qualcomm Adreno 305 GPU. The signal processor is a Hexagon QDSP6 500MHz processor. The camera on the phone can be up to 13.5 MP camera as that is the limit of the chipset. The chipset has a 854 x 480 pixels screen resolution ability.
