Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro: APQ8064

The Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 has been a very popular chip with mobile phone manufacturers globally. Nokia just as others have used this processor as it is a quad core processor with low power usage and a range of options. This chip came out in 2014 and still being used in 2016.

The Snapdragon processor is a very efficient processor with a 1.7 Ghz clock speed and being four core makes for the bases of an excellent chip for a multi media phone. Unlike other mobile phones on the market this chip comes with 2,048 KB/Core which is twice the size of the average processor. This adds to the efficiency of the processor while keeping battery use lower.

The S4  Pro APQ8064 comes with a Qualcomm Adreno 320 GPU which is a very powerful processor for all your graphics. The signal processor on the phone is a Hexagon QDSP6 runnig at 500MHz. The CPU and GPU is powerful enough to run the screen at 2048 x 1536 pixels and can manage a camera of 20 MP.
