Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro : MSM8960DT

The MSM8960DT chipset was extensively used by Motorola for their Droid mobile phones. Unlike the MSM8625 which had a wider use, the Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960DT was mainly a Motorola used chip. The chips is a dual core chip running at 1.7 Ghz and you can see the specifications below for more information. Also see the Snapdragon S4 range of mobile phones.

The following mobile phones used this chip. You will note that they are the Droid range of mobile phones. The chip is above the average of 1.3 Ghz which is the current standard on the market as it runs at 1.7 Ghz. The chip uses a 1,024 KB/Core cache and it is very good at multitasking due to the size of the cache and that the chip is a dual core. Note that this chip is not very old at the time of writing:

ISA Supported: ARMv7
CPU Structure: RISC
Semiconductor Technology: CMOS
Year Released: 2014

The chip uses an Qualcomm Adreno 320 GPU which is a very good GPU. Signal processing is done by a Hexagon QDSP6 processor. There is also an embedded GPS Module as well a Bluetooth. The chipset is also good for a maximum 20 MP camera. Note the mobile phone list for the users of this chipset.
