The Nokia N9 is still one of the most popular mobile phones brought to market by Nokia. The operating system is the MeeGo OS, v1.2 Harmattan on a TI OMAP 3630 chipset. The OMAP (Open Multimedia Applications Platform) is a series of image/video processors developed by Texas Instruments. The mobile phone is powered by a very capable 1.0 GHz Cortex A8 CPU and a PowerVR SGX530 GPU.
The phone does not have a card slot but has more than enough space on the internal memory at 16/64 GB, 1 GB RAM. The 8 MP Carl Zeiss optics camera is also very good as it also comes with autofocus and a dual-LED flash. Standard on this type of phone is the geo-tagging, face detection as well as touch-focus. The video is also very good at 720p@30fps. There is also a very basic VGA secondary camera.
The phone has active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic which is very good. There is WiFi as well as a USB port, FM radio which they normally tend to leave out of the higher end phones. There is also A-GPS as well as Ovi Maps. There is also a sensor package which includes an accelerometer, proximity sensor as well as a compass.
