Snapdragon 400 MSM8926

The MSM8926, Snapdragon 400 is a very popular chipset as it uses a dual core processor. The chipset was released in 2013 and has been found in many high-end mobile phones. The chipset uses the 4x ARM Cortex-A7 MPcore processor with a maximum speed of 1.2 Ghz.

There are not that many chipsets which can use a 32bit quad-core processor. The memory interface is for a LPDDR2 SDRAM and/or a LPDDR3 SDRAM. It has 16 Kbyte I-Cache L1 and 1024 Kbyte L2 cache. This makes the chipset very good for multimedia mobile phones. The chipset also comes with the very powerful Qualcomm Adreno 305 GPU for all its video and graphics.
